Light: Bright, indirect sunlight.

Water: Allow the lava rock and roots to dry completely between watering. Avoid waterlogged conditions to prevent root rot.

Dormancy: The plant may enter summer dormancy and lose its leaves for a few weeks. During this time, reduce watering significantly.
